Computer Data Formats
New England Keyboard, Inc. Engineering Department supports the latest in computer and CAD technology. AutoCAD 2004, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator 11.0), Electronic Workbench 5.0, MS Office 2000, and other computer software applications are in use at New England Keyboard. Computer Data formats preferred and/or acceptable by our Engineering Department are as follows:
Engineering Data
| AutoCAD 2004 (Preferred) |
AutoCAD drawing file formats (dwg, dxf, dwf, dxb) are
preferred for CAD drawing transfers.
IGES, STP, STEP drawing transfer files are acceptable; however, must be converted to an AutoCAD drawing format prior to use by Engineering. |

Gerber and other photo-plotter files may be acceptable; however, some file

Graphic Artwork
| Adobe Creative Suite (Prefered) |
Adobe Illustrator file formats (ai, eps) are preferred for
graphic file transfers. All fonts should be converted to
"outline" prior to submitting to NEK, or the font files
must accompany the Illustrator files.
